Secretary General's Greeting

Welcome to the American University in Dubai Model United Nations’ website. It’s my honor to invite you to enjoy AUDMUN 8.0, the eigth installment of our prestigious conference!

The AUDMUN Executive Board and Team are working tirelessly to bring you yet another amazing and memorable conference. Including our wonderful volunteers, chairs, and co-chairs, we would like to ensure that the experience that you get out of our conference, as delegates and faculty advisors, is worth your time and will stick with you for the rest of your MUN experiences after. The whole team enjoys what we do, and we want you to enjoy this with us as well.

MUN as a community has grown much more than anyone would have expected. It is where people want to grow and learn about political issues all over the world. People learn to overcome their fears and actively search for a solution to said political issues. Numerous delegates have become the best of friends and have learned how to compromise for the greater good.

We believe that we have chosen an extraordinary set of topics that our chairs and delegates will enjoy, have fun in, and will be beneficial for everyone involved. Luckily, we have received positive feedback from multiple schools and universities for the previous conferences, but we don’t want to stop here. We want to surpass all your expectations and give you a great conference!

Overall, we want you to have a great and fruitful debate, and honestly, we want you to have fun. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact anyone on the AUDMUN Team; we would all more than gladly help you in any way we can.
