About the Chairs

Irene Franco

Irene Franco is currently a junior majoring in Business Management at The American University of Sharjah. Although an Indian breed, she was born and raised in Dubai. She was first introduced to the world of MUN in high school where she participated as a delegate and at university continued to participate as both a delegate and a chair. AUDMUN2020 will be her fifth MUN conference and her second time as a chair. Irene believes that the most important element of any MUN conference is the experience and the personal development that comes with it. She is very excited to meet and work with all the delegates at the upcoming conference as co-chair of the International Atomic Energy Agency!

Faisal AlAli

Faisal is an economics major at the American University of Sharjah. He is a strong believer in free speech and self expression. Partaking in MUNs has allowed him to become more tolerant; accepting conflicting views, whilst still disagreeing with them. He is ecstatic about this year's AUDMUN!
