Tala is currently studying International Relations and Psychology at the American University of Sharjah. She is one of the founding members of AUS Model Congress here in the UAE and has served as its Chief of Staff. Her MUN journey began during her junior year of high school. Tala has participated in 15 conferences ever since, with AUDMUN 2020 marking her 16th conference and her 11th chairing experience. Tala believes that MUN is a great way of bringing people together. She also believes that it is a strong measure in order to help develop debating and research skills. She is very excited to meet and work with you all in November in order to simulate one of the first-ever GA committees in AUDMUN history!
Mohamed Ahmed Alawadhi is a junior at the University of Dubai studying Information Systems Security. His MUN journey began in high school where soon after fully committed to always participate in a conference, he has participated in 8 conferences and AUDMUN 2020 will be his ninth conference and his first chairing experience. Mohamed has amazing memories of being a delegate and being encouraged to speak by several chairs that raised his confidence, he hopes to replicate the same encouragement towards shy first time delegates to help them improve on their public speaking. Mohamed is eager to meet and work with you all in the GA3 committee in November.
Asmitha is currently a 12th-grade student at Al Diyafah High School. She is a fiery MUNer, enthusiastic debater and a passionate advocate against the numerous social problems plaguing our world. She is a football fanatic and a focused basketball player for her school team. When she is not reading the latest crime thriller you can find her binge-watching Buzzfeed unsolved and mystery thrillers. Her fascination with international politics, national policy, and social controversy fuelled her to participate in numerous MUNs, public speaking competitions & debates. Having attended 10 conferences in her MUN journey she is excited to chair the Third Committee at AUDMUN 2021. She firmly believes that the caliber of any delegate lies in their research and confidence.
