African Union

The African Union is a continental body consisting of the 55 member states that make up the countries of the African Continent. The African Union is the culmination of a consensus by African leaders to increase cooperation and integration of African states in order to drive growth and economic development on the continent. The aim of the African Union is to combat the issues central to the region in order to achieve greater peace and prosperity for all African states.

About the Chairs

Zahraa Jaber

Zahraa is currently a freshman at the American University of Sharjah. Her MUN journey began back in her freshman year of high school. She believes that MUN truly brings out the best and strongest qualities in a person seeing as it requires research skills, debating, confidence and persuasion. It is a life changing experience that she is glad she was introduced to. She looks forward to meeting you all and hopes that this conference will be an unforgettable experience for all of you!

Vinayak Mahesh Ram

Vinayak is currently in his final year of high school at The Winchester School, Jebel Ali. He was introduced to the debating and MUN world pretty late compared to his friends however, once he started he could not stop. He loved the idea of learning new things, convincing and getting convinced by all the new people he had met through this aspect of his life. Vinayak has won numerous awards in the many MUNs he has been too and is excited to share the knowledge he has acquired with everyone. He is extremely excited to meet each and every one of you and wishes you all the best of luck.
