About the Committee

The IAEA's role is to cooperate with the Member States in order to ensure the safe and secure use of nuclear technologies. It was developed independently based on an international treaty, the IAEA Statute, but it still reports to the United Nations Security Council and the United Nations General Assembly.

Malak Tamer

Malak was born in Alexandria and has lived in Dubai for 12 years. She has always been interested in global politics and is a great believer of its power and impact. She decided to join AUDMUN as she saw it as an opportunity that will allow her to explore the different views of people on the global issues addressed. As well as, meet new people and challenge herself. Malak is currently a senior here in AUD majoring in International Relations.

Lena Khalifa

Lena is a student majoring in International Studies at the American University of Sharjah. She has always been particularly interested in diplomatic relations as well as the political and economical dynamics of situations occurring across the globe. Her interests besides politics and economics resides in the arts and psychology. She’s attended several conferences and hopes to learn something new from future experiences yet to come.
